FIRMER AND SMOOTHER!
Hanna M. on November 2015
“I had used multiple brands of collagen supplements in the past: like Meiji, Biocell, Neocell, and others. Elavonne’s Amino Collagen C has everything I need and without sugar, plus its easy to use. I’ve been trying to remove most added sugar from my diet and this doesn’t have any, which is great. It has the added benefit of Hyaluronic Acid, which I love. This is great price, so I get the 16oz canister. By the way, my skin is firmer and smoother, less age spots, wrinkles, and even cellulite.”

I HAVE TO TOUCH MY FACE TO BELIEVE IT
Mina L. on January 2016
“The fact that it’s made in the USA also appeals to me. It has a very slight chalky taste to it and it settles at the bottom, so I keep stirring or swishing it around until the end. Considering all the benefits I’m reaping (my skin looks and feels fantastic and I have difficulty keeping my hands away from my face–yeah, it’s that good), it’s a small price to pay. Will be ordering again very soon!”5 star review
EASY AND IT WORKS
Diane S. on March 2017
“I love Elavonne’s Amino Collagen, its given me the fountain of youth for my skin. Easy to drink with my juice every morning. Hair is shiny and strong, is it possible that my pores appear tighter? I think so! :)

MY DERMATOLOGIST NOTICED
Wendy J. on January 2017
“Since I started using the Amino Collagen C with Hyaluronic Acid I’ve noticed that my hair and skin are stronger and healthier looking… that was the first thing I noticed. Then, my dermatologist told me that my skin looked firmer, and I hadn’t even told her that I’d been using the collagen powder. I would say the the amino collagen supplement has been a big help in my skin’s appearance.”5 star review
PEOPLE ARE SHOCKED TO HEAR MY AGE
Jennifer T. on April 2017
“Ty! I am a 45 year old RN and seeing great results, this is my second purchase. I don’t have a single line or sagging of ANY kind. Everyone i meet is shocked when i tell my age. I recommend to all coworkers and friends.  I will send before and after pictures next month and do a review. Love it!!!!! “5 star review
HAS HELPED WITH DRYNESS AND WRINKLES
Brent M. on October 2016
“I’m 43, yes, men care about wrinkles too! I’ve been using your product believe it or not and I will tell you that I have noticed a big improvement in skin dryness and wrinkles. I take two scoops a day before bed. I really appreciate that you don’t put any sugar or flavor in this product, I feel healthy and better using it’s keeping my skin a few steps back from aging. Thanks!”

46 comments on Amino Collagen C with Hyaluronic Acid

I have been taking Japanese Amino Collagen for my osteoarthritis pain for about 5 months. It seems to be working well. My pain has been decreasing. I now need to find a refill but am having problems ordering from oversea sellers. I decided to check out other sellers and encountered Elavonne. I found out that Elavonne has a special focus on skin care, not on bone care, such as joint health. The ingredients of both Japanese collagen and Elavonne are about same. My comments and questions to you are if Elavonne will help my problem, arthritis? If Japanese collagen has been working for me, do you think Elavonne will work for me? Please let me know by calling or emailing me. Thank you. - Katsuko S.

Yes, Elavonne Amino Collagen C with hyaluronic acid also works for arthritis. It makes sense as many joint products utilize collagen peptides and hyaluronic acid. Even though Elavonne highlights the beauty factor, it definitely helps with joints as well. It does this by providing the materials which help with the fluidity of the tissue around the joints. In the body, collagen’s main function is to support and maintain tendons, skin, and cartilage. Collagen provides integrity, elasticity, and firmness to their structures. Maximizing collagen levels will contribute positively to overall joint health. Thank you for your question!

Most people notice true changes around 8 weeks with daily use, and see more results with consistent daily use after that. Keep in mind, you are replacing the collagen in your body, so if you're over 45 or over, you may see best results when taking 2 scoops per day. By the time we reach our 50s, collagen production is dramatically less than it was in our twenties. You're fortifying your skin and body tissues every time to take Amino Collagen C, you will see the results if you're consistent.

Please reply. I am trying out this product following a significant loss of body fat/ tighter muscle tissue as a result of antiretrovial medication. When I stop using the product (assuming that it is effective as it claims) what will be the result? Will face become gaunt again? Thank you
    • October 4, 2013 at 7:51 pmelavonne Author Reply to elavonne
The purpose of Amino Collagen C is to replace the missing collagen stores in the body. The result is firmer/stronger skin and body tissues, since collagen fortifies these structures. Depending on your particular situation, you may need to increase your daily intake to twice per day for the first couple of months. Since the decline of collagen production in the body continues as we age (and aging does not stop), we recommend consistent daily use of the product for maintenance throughout the lifetime.

Thank you for reply. I would be happy to make gains to the point of looking like myself. I am not looking for eternal youth. I just don't want to look like a holocaust or HIV survivor. Therefore, if results are not forthcoming, I will continue to seek other options. [I take about 15 other supplements in an effort to address the toxicity. *Note: The meds. used in NIH studies are not available on the market. Thanks again.

I read that if you're in your 40s, you should take 2 scoops a day. This makes a 1-month supply quite pricy, in my case. I'm not sure if I'll be able to afford it every month, but would love to take it for at least 6 months to visualize the full benefits. However, my actual question is, should they be taken together, in the morning, or at different times of the day? Also, where does the fish collagen come from? Is the fish farmed or wild caught? Thank you for your help! PS I've only been taking it for 2 weeks, but I do believe my skin feels a lot smoother already. Excited to see more!

Jackie, glad to here you're seeing the results! To answer your questions, the fish is fresh water tilapia. • July 12, 2016 at 8:39 pmelavonne Author Reply to elavonne
It is likely that the change in color is due to the Vitamin C content. When the product becomes older, the vitamin C becomes exposed to the air making it change color.

    • July 12, 2016 at 8:30 pmelavonne Author Reply to elavonne
Stearic acid is an essential saturated fatty acid that is found in all vegetable, seed, nut, and animal oils. Manufacturing requires certain substances like stearic acid to help powders flow smoothly through the machines. Stearic acid is ideal because of its natural source and inactive state-so it doesn't interfere with the proper utilization or absorption of the active ingredients in the formula. There is no evidence that stearic acid, in the minuscule levels used in manufacturing cause any damage to health. The amount of stearic acid used in manufacturing is much less than what you'll find in a salad with olive oil and vinegar dressing. (Olive oil is a source of stearic acid.). We use low levels of this ingredient and it comes from a high quality vegetable source.
